Normal skin has a very balanced condition, not too either oily or dry. Baby has a normal skin. Dry skin is usually tight and the facial pores are very small. The skin usually has fine wrinkles, flaking, red patches. In the case of colored skin, the skin may appear ashy or dull.
1Do not use soap to clean the face because it contains alkaline which can dry out the skin. Avoid alcohol-based toner. These two ingredients can aggravate the dryness. One of the best thing you can do for your dry skin is to use a rich cream but not too heavy, together with cleansing milk or natural facial mist derived from plants.
2Choose healthy food and take some health supplements to maintain suppleness and elasticity of your skin e.g. Omega 3 , 6, Evening Primrose Oil, Fish Oil, Flaxseed Oil or Natural Vitamin E.
3Do not stay too long in the sun. If you have to expose to the sun, make sure wearing hat or sunscreen.
4Do not take a hot shower too long as this might irritate the dry skin to become flaky.
